Sheriff Marcos Lopez and the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office are accepting registrations for their upcoming Basic’s Citizen Academy, a 12-week program, that will showcase the various divisions and units within the Sheriff’s Office and will allow for participants to meet multiple instructors with years of experience in law enforcement.
The program will also include a firearms safety class as well as a visit to the Osceola County Sheriff’s firing range for hands-on experience. Upon graduation, participants will receive an official certificate of completion signed by Sheriff Marcos Lopez , presented during the academy graduation banquet.
