Congratulations to the Osceola School District for being awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018. The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management. The district has earned this recognition twelve years in a row.
The district’s comprehensive annual financial report was judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program, which includes demonstrating a constructive “spirit of full disclosure” to clearly communicate the financial story and motivate potential users and users groups to read it.
Distrito Escolar de Osceola Premiado por Informes Financieros Sobresalientes
El Distrito Escolar de Osceola recibió el Certificado de Logro de Excelencia en Informes Financieros 2019 por parte de la Asociación de Oficiales de Finanzas del Gobierno de los Estados Unidos y Canadá (GFOA, por sus siglas en inglés) por su Informe Financiero Anual Integral para el año fiscal que finaliza el 30 de junio de 2018. El Certificado de Logro es la forma más alta de reconocimiento en el área de contabilidad gubernamental e informes financieros, y obtenerlo representa un logro significativo por parte de un gobierno y su administración. El distrito se ha ganado este reconocimiento doce años seguidos.
