At least three people were killed Tuesday around 5:30pm in a crash involving multiple vehicles on State Road 429 near Sinclair Road in Osceola County, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
A grandmother, mother and daughter from Massachusetts were all killed in the multi-vehicle crash after a pickup truck rear-ended a van carrying eight people, FHP said. according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP Lt. Kim Montes said additional patients were being treated for injuries.
Osceola County Fire Rescue and EMS were on scene and described the crash as a rollover with entrapment.
Southbound lanes on State Road 429 were shut down Tuesday evening as troopers and fire rescue worked the fatal crash.
