On Saturday morning, Osceola County Fire Rescue & EMS, City of Kissimmee Fire Department, and Polk County Fire Rescue worked together to extinguish a house fire on Aurelia Court, near the intersection of Monterey Road and KOA Street in Poinciana.
Crews provided an emergency rescue to a resident trapped inside from the second floor, as the two-story home’s upper floor had begun to collapse, and transported the victim to a burn unit for further care.
The cause of the blaze is not yet known, however, the State Fire Marshal will be conducting an investigation. The home is a total loss.
