The rodeo’s passion for national pride shone brightly as a solemn highlight of the evening, with beloved local singer Kenyon Lockry delivering a stirring rendition of the national anthem on Friday, followed by a heartfelt performance by Scott Ashbire on Saturday.

My year of being Big Boss has been wonderful, and a lot of fun. We’ve made some changes this year, and seen some sold-out rodeos. And, of course, we’ve even gone to the Rose Parade. However, my favorite part of being Big Boss has been giving back to the community, the money we donate in the community, and the events we’ve attended. It’s been a great thing!
