On February 20th, 2019, the St. Cloud Police Department was awarded with the Certificate of Accreditation from the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA).
The process began on December 11th, 2018, when assessors from CFA arrived at the St. Cloud Police Department to examine all aspects of their policies & procedures, management, operations, and support services.
The St. Cloud Police Department had to comply with approximately 265 standards in order to receive re-accredited status. At the end of the process, the St. Cloud Police Department achieved 100% compliance in all standards.
