Toho Water Authority is announcing the temporary closure to the entrance of Cypress Reserve Villas in Kissimmee at the intersection of Cypress Reserve Blvd. and Flora Blvd. The closure is necessary to conduct emergency repairs to a collapsed sewer lateral. The road will be closed indefinitely until repairs are made.
An update will be provided later this week once a full assessment is able to be conducted.
Residents are advised to allow for extra travel time. Traffic has been temporarily rerouted to use Eastham Ln. for entrance and exit to the neighborhood. Signage will be placed as needed to keep the traveling public informed of the project.
Residents in the area should expect to experience noise and vibrations, barricades and fencing for safety, and trucks, machinery, and equipment. Please be mindful and use extra caution if traveling near the work site.
