A fiery single-car crash on I- 4 in Osceola County left two people dead Sunday afternoon, according to FHP.
Florida troopers said the crash took place around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday when a 2018 BMW M5 lost control and ran off the westbound lanes of I-4 into the grass while attempting to change lanes to the outside lane.
The sedan started to rotate and the right rear of the vehicle struck a light pole then burst into flames, according to the FHP.
The man driving the BMW, and his female passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene, Florida Troopers said.
The outside westbound lane of I- 4 and the exit ramp to U.S. Highway 192 were blocked during FHP’s investigation, and were reopened around 8:10 p.m.
