Want some holiday cheer — live, in person and on stage?
Osceola Arts is the place to be this season.
The heartwarming classic Irving Berlin’s White Christmas kicks off the holiday season beginning this weekend on the Osceola Arts stage on U.S. Highway 192 just east of Kissimmee. Shows are 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays, with an additional 2 p.m. matinee performance on Dec. 21.
Tickets are $25, with senior, students and group rates available.
Based on the 1954 movie, White Christmas tells the story of a song-and-dance duo who follow two singing sisters on their way to Vermont for their upcoming Christmas show. The White Christmas production features 17 Irving Berlin tunes, including the title song and well as the iconic “Blue Skies” and “I Love A Piano”.
Osceola Arts’ professional vocal group, Take Note: A Vocal Collective will host the family holiday concert Merry and Bright on Dec. 16 at 11 a.m. The 90-minute show will include fun holiday favorites, cookies, and hot cocoa. Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for children in advance, and slightly higher at the door.
Osceola Arts will also offer holiday magic with its annual Holiday Craft Market, which features handmade crafts like ornaments, woodwork, jewelry, wreaths and more made by local artists. Free weekly raffles and one grand prize will be given away. The market will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Sundays from noon to 4:30, and during all White Christmas performances through Dec. 22.
