On Tuesday, February 26th from 7 pm to 8 pm at 22 North John Young Parkway in Kissimmee there will be a vigil to remember the life of Ms. Ruth Haut who was taken from her friends and family on February 26, 1992, at the age of 41.
The vigil will take place not only to help everyone remember the legacy that Ms. Haut left but also provide some much-needed information on this cold case homicide.
She was reported as missing from her place of business at 22 N. John Young Parkway (Bermuda Ave), Kissimmee, Florida and her body was later discovered in an orange grove on the east end of Hickory Tree Road near U.S. Highway 192. Her death was ruled a homicide, but no arrests have ever been made in this case, which remains open.
