Florida State is holding the youth clinics around the state of Florida, head coach Mike Norvell announced recently.
Osceola County is proud to host the Seminoles and having them at Austin-Tindall is a fantastic way to showcase our investment in this sports facility. Even though I am a proud Auburn graduate, you can’t overlook the opportunity of having our youth exposed to Division 1 coaches in this type of setting. I hope anyone with children interested in football will check it out – particularly after all the sacrifices athletes have had to make over the last year because of COVID-19.
The clinic is free to attend and open to all youth currently in 8th grade and younger. It will feature fun, age-appropriate instruction from the Florida State football coaching staff, as well as special appearances by FSU football alumni. All clinics will have COVID protocols in place as established by the CDC, FSU, and local regulations.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. on May 15th and the event will run from 10:30 to noon.
“I am incredibly excited for this opportunity to invest in communities throughout the state of Florida,” Norvell said. “Our focus will be on serving our state’s youth by providing a positive, impactful experience. This will be an opportunity to have fun, develop athletically and celebrate the Seminole Way.”

Florida State está llevando a cabo clínicas juveniles en todo el estado de Florida, anunció recientemente el entrenador principal Mike Norvell.
“El Condado de Osceola se enorgullece de albergar a los Seminole y tenerlos en Austin-Tindall es una manera fantástica de mostrar nuestra inversión en esta instalación deportiva,” dijo el presidente de la Comisión de Osceola, Brandon Arrington. “A pesar de que soy un orgulloso graduado de Auburn, no puede pasar por alto la oportunidad de que nuestros jóvenes estén expuestos a los entrenadores de la División 1 en este tipo de entorno. Espero que cualquiera que tenga niños interesados en el fútbol lo vea, especialmente después de todos los sacrificios que los atletas han tenido que hacer durante el último año debido al COVID-19.”
La clínica es gratuita y está abierta a todos los jóvenes actualmente en octavo grado y menores. Contará con instrucción divertida y apropiada para la edad del personal de entrenamiento de fútbol de Florida State, así como apariciones especiales de alumnos de fútbol de FSU. Todas las clínicas contarán con protocolos de COVID-19 establecidos por los CDC, FSU y las regulaciones locales.
El registro comienza a las 9:30 a.m. del 15 de mayo y el evento se llevará a cabo desde las 10:30 hasta el mediodía.
