Falling in line with Lynx bus service, SunRail will return to its regular train schedule on Monday, the Florida Department of Transportation said Friday in a release.

FDOT asks all riders to wear masks and sit at least six feet away from other riders. Where possible, an extra passenger vehicle will be added to allow for increased social distancing. Station ambassadors have been provided with sanitizing supplies to disinfect all station equipment and frequently touched surfaces.

Like the buses, the trains have been running on a weekend schedule since the end of March in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus while still providing service to essential workers who need mass transit service. Lynx will also resume connector service to SunRail stations on Monday.

SunRail operates Monday through Friday between DeBary in Volusia County and Poinciana in Osceola County.
