According to the Florida Department of Health, despite the State of Florida adding almost 1,000 new COVID-19 cases and 15 deaths overnight, just 10 of them were in Osceola County.

The DOH’s morning update now shows 239 coronavirus cases and four deaths, the same figures from last night’s update. There are 60 local virus-related hospitalizations.
There are now 13,324 cases statewide. The percentage of new cases and deaths locally and across the state decreased slightly over the weekend. This is hope that social distancing practices and the local and state-issued stay-at-home declarations likely are having an impact on the virus pandemic.
