Osceola County residents gathered in front of St. Cloud City Hall on Wednesday night, April 30, for a special Plant & Tree Giveaway hosted by District 5 Osceola County Commissioner Ricky Booth. The event, held during the Downtown St. Cloud Monthly Market from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., provided free trees and plants to the community on a first-come, first-served basis.

“Trees and plants increased property values and helped beautify our community,” Commissioner Booth said following the event. “This was a great opportunity to come together during a very busy Downtown St. Cloud Monthly Market and make Osceola even more beautiful.”

Many of the trees given away came directly from the Osceola County Tree Farm, which currently has more than 10,000 trees and seedlings growing. The farm supports countywide sustainability efforts and supplies greenery for community beautification projects like this one.
