On July 2nd, multiple packages were stolen from homes in the Lakeshore at Narcoossee subdivision off Narcoossee Road in Saint Cloud. The homes that were burglarized had video-based doorbell cameras installed which made it possible to capture video of the suspect and his vehicle.
Osceola detectives were able to identify the Grey Nissan Altima that was used in the thefts and found it at an apartment complex in Orlando. The driver, Elin Fernando Salas was seen getting in the car and driving away in the videos.
Detectives located Salas and interrogated him regarding the thefts. Mr. Salas confessed to taking the packages from the houses, was arrested and transported to Osceola County Corrections.
