Toho Water Authority is announcing the temporary closure of the north bound lane on San Remo Road between Mayan Place and Floridian Drive beginning this Thursday, January 2. Flaggers will be present allowing traffic to flow in both directions.

Closure to thru-traffic beginning January 7
Beginning Tuesday, January 7, San Remo Road between Mayan Place and Floridian Drive will be closed to thru-traffic. The road closure is necessary to conduct rehabilitation work on sewer lines and manholes in the area. The road is expected to reopen by the end of April 2020.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution when approaching these areas. Speed limits may be reduced in certain areas. Signage will be placed as needed to keep residents and the traveling public informed of the project.

This is part of the first phase of the San Remo sewer rehabilitation project. The overall project consists of five phases which is expected to continue through September 2020. Schedules could vary according to weather and unforeseen circumstances. Updates will be provided as the project progresses.

Toho will work to minimize any impacts on the community as much as possible. Information regarding the project is available on www.tohoprojects.com.
