For the third day in a row, the Florida Department of Health reported over 1,200 new coronavirus cases, including 1,305 for Thursday’s report. It is the highest three-day total since April 14-16, when the state’s “curve” was at its highest peak.
The news is much better in Osceola County. The DOH added just six new cases, putting the tally here to 732. Deaths (20) and hospitalizations (164 including non-residents) have not changed since yesterday. That’s a sign that it’s no time to let up our guard — keep wearing your face coverings and keep social distanced when in public, and continue washing hands as often as possible and other high hygiene standards.
